BitGo Secures MiCA License from Germany’s BaFin, Expanding EU Crypto Services
BitGo, a U.S.-based cryptocurrency custody provider, has obtained a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license from Germany’s financial regulator, BaFin. This authorization enables BitGo to offer digital asset services to institutional clients across the European Union under a unified legal framework.
"Regulatory compliance is at the core of our business," said Harald Patt, managing director of BitGo Europe GmbH. The license underscores BitGo’s commitment to security and transparency as it positions itself to support growing crypto adoption in Europe.
